Job Description
Total Hours per week: 37.5
A fantastic career opportunity to join Welton, Bibby and Baron as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will join a team of skilled engineers to support the learning process. You will develop your skills to provide Engineering support and expertise by maintaining plant and equipment to optimise safety, quality, plant performance and product availability.
You will work alongside the Maintenance Engineering Team, assisting and providing engineering support to the production teams in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical faults.
Daily, you will carry out hands on running, preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks such as;
What qualification will the apprentice achieve:
In partnership with Wiltshire College Chippenham, you will attend day release college to gain the following skills and qualifications;
• Electrical Performing Engineering Operations Units
• BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or City and Guilds Diploma in Engineering maintenance
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering maintenance
In addition, you will benefit from on-the-job training and additional subject relevant courses.
Working Pattern of Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs a week.
Monday - Thursday - 8 Hours
8 AM - 16:00 PM
½ Unpaid Break
Fridays - 5.5 Hours
8 AM – 1:30 PM
½ Unpaid Break

Qualifications:
You will need to have or be working towards a min of 4 GCSE’s Grade C/4 or above including maths and English language
May lead to permanent employment for the right candidate on completion of the apprenticeship.
