Quality Controller

We are looking for a Quality Controller to work within the Production area with the main responsibility of ensuring that bags produced are in line with customer specifications and expectations.

Responsibilities:

· Ensuring quality checks are carried out on each machine and identifying when products are out of specification.

· Ensure that all paperwork is accurate and detailed and traceability is maintained.

· Ensure relevant machines are covered with appropriately trained assistants as required.

· Providing training and guidance to employees regarding quality control procedures, standards, and best practices to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

· Organising jobs and personnel for sorting when required.

Qualities from Candidate:

· Quality conscious.

· Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels within the business.

· Self-motivated.

· Ability to manage own work flow in a key area.

· Ability to work in a team.

· Accurate with detailed work.

· Computer literate, particularly with Windows, Word and Excel.

· Good time management skills.

· An understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

· A minimum of grade C or equivalent in Maths and English would be preferable.

We are offering

· 37.5 hours per week

· This role is working on our 3-shift system, with shift rotation being mornings, nights and afternoons.

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Quality control: 1 year (preferred)
