Warehouse Operative (x2)

We have two vacancies for the above position, to assist with the effective running of the warehouse including goods-in, dispatch, and recycling.

Principle duties include:

• Loading and unloading goods from lorries
• Checking equipment daily and using it safely
• Completing paperwork for delivery notes and stock control
• Stacking goods and moving them around in storage bays
• Removing material waste containers from factory for recycling
• Separating and recycling of various waste types
• Manually handling goods when necessary
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
• Ensure the necessary protective equipment is worn/used at all times
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Maintains cleanliness throughout the warehouse and factory
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace

• Must be pro-active in your duties, be able to work on your own initiative and work with others.
• Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
• Strong knowledge of site processes and procedures, and aptitude for learning and applying such.
• An understanding of Health &Safety requirements

This position will be working 37.5 hours per week on a three rotating shift patterns 06.00 – 14.00, 14.00 - 22.00 and 22.00 – 6.00 Monday to Thursday and 6.00 – 11.30, 11.30 – 17.00 and 17.00 – 22.30 on Friday.We offer an attractive rate of pay, membership of our excellent company pension plan and benefits including holiday dates (inclusive of banks holiday).
