We are seeking skilled and motivated assistants to join our team. A machine assistant is a vital part and piece of the production line, you are one of the last individuals to check the quality and standard of the products before packaging the product up accordingly; to meet the customer’s requirement/request. The role requires a keen eye for detail and you will be packaging and sorting products at the end of the line.

The hours are 37.5 hours a week, over a 3-rotating shift pattern:

Monday - Thursday - 8 hours:

Morning - 6am - 2pm

Evenings - 2pm -10pm

Nights - 10pm - 6am

Fridays - 5.5 hours:

Mornings - 6am - 11:30am

Evenings - 11:30 – 5pm

Nights - 5pm - 10:30pm

Requirements:

Production based background

Willing to build knowledge of new skills and tasks

A good understanding of working in a safe manner

Working as part of a team or able to work on own initiative

Contribute to a zero tolerance for nonconforming products.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Positive and professional attitude

Experience of working within the paper packaging industry would be an advantage

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Strong mechanical knowledge is useful but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
